Peruzzi is currently the most talked about topic on microblogging platform Twitter and oh he’s been given a new tag. In reaction to the incident, Peruzzi has been called all sorts of names, Obalende Travis Scott, Onitsha Quavo, Egbeda Lucky Dube 🤦‍♂️ etc.

Here are a few reactions from Nigerians:

@akaebube – My attention has been drawn to the fact that one “Obalende Travis Scott” slapped someone for expressing his opinion That is another brazen attack on Freedom of Expression And we must all condemn it in the interest of our democracy

@wildeyeq – You people want freedom of expression and continuously rail against Buhari, but it’s banter and laughs when a struggling artist slaps another citizen for expressing his views about their art.

@joeyakan – This Pamilerin assault just confirms my thoughts on him: His focus is warped. His mind is twisted, and his art comes from a tainted place. That desperation can be felt from afar. It isn’t artistic hunger. Just unsexy desperation. And it is showing. God help him. Amen.

@SirLeoBDasilva – The “streets” doesn’t have an ultimate boss. You can’t sleep with the streets in your bed. In this life, you have to move very very humble, don’t provoke people and never get power drunk. No street is above the law and no street has the monopoly of violence.

@shalley_T – Instead of slapping Pamilerin why not use him as a PR, I’m sure dude would have apologized if he was given a chance instead of igbaju.
